Haul Post!

Fair warning; this week's haul post will feature an awful lot of magazines because, apparently, for a while all I bought was magazines! But read on to see what I've been buying lately.

Yep, we're those people who buy a Valentine's Day card both for the cat and from the cat. He's our baby, what can I say? And there's obviously others like us, otherwise there wouldn't be a market for these cards!

There's more than just these few magazines, if you thought this wasn't many. But I'm trying to break the magazines up so it's not too overwhelming! I'm a sucker for a true crime magazine/bookazine. I'm also really loving the Your Cat collector's pin badges. Especially this black cat one - as black cats are my fave!

A beauty/homeware haul. I've been trying to find the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair for what feels like my whole life. Herbal Essences are usually pretty good, but I couldn't get any when lockdown started here in the UK. So I opted for TreSemme instead. Apparently, though, it causes a build-up of product on your scalp and I'm now suffering from an itchy scalp! Cat's don't really cause as much as a smell on soft furnishings as dogs, but I do like a fresh smelling sofa to sit down on, hence the Febreze. Forever buying new Avon Bubble Bath scents. And a car air freshener because, well, who doesn't like a nice smelling car?!

More true crime magazines. I've cut down the amount of magazines I buy per month, from something like eight plus to just three. Now I only buy Real Crime, Crime Monthly and Your Cat. I couldn't keep up with a) the cost of buying all these magazines every month, and I was buying more magazines than I could read.

Another small homeware haul. Wasn't this gin glass made for me?! Not only have I recently discovered a love for gin, but unicorns! It wasn't even that expensive. £5, I think. Our knife set had gone all rusty so whilst perusing the homeware aisles in Asda, I decided to pick these up. I love how colourful they are! And I can't resist a new water bottle - especially when it's as motivational as this one!

Last few magazines for this haul post, promise! I've stopped buying these mental health magazines and, for the most part, Cosmopolitan. The latter because I'm not that interested in fashion and it's a waste of money for the few articles I actually read in the mag. The mental health magazines, because they're all much of a muchness in my opinion and don't often tell me anything I don't already know.

And finally, a little stationery haul. Treated myself to a new, and bigger, Filofax at the start of this year and, well, that was a waste of money wasn't it?! What am I going to use it for in lockdown?! Oh well. I can always make use of it next year, I'm sure. Picked up a folder to keep all the fostering paperwork in, before we decided we weren't going to go forward with the fostering application of course. And couldn't resist some Harry Potter stickers!
