When I sat down to write this post, I did not have high hopes for myself. I was sure I'd failed to achieve any of my January Goals and I was well prepared to write some excuse about how it was January, and January's just a trial month anyway! But hey, I surprised myself. Here's why...
Since I cut my goals down to three rather than five, and really started focusing on what I could realistically achieve in four weeks, I've been absolutely smashing my goals. And now it's time to look at my February goals!
1. Celebrate Valentine's Day. Chris and I don't go big on Valentine's Day. We don't do presents, but we do exchange cards. And we usually mark the occasion by going out for a meal somewhere nice.
2. Spend time with family. I haven't seen my family since Christmas, and I'm having withdrawal symptoms!
3. Tidy up the front and back garden. The social worker comes to visit this month to interview us about our fostering application and I want the house to look good for her arrival. We've spent most of the last few weeks decluttering and tidying, so the inside looks great. It's just the outside to work on now.
What are your goals for February?
