Things I'm Looking Forward To In December

I'm really enjoying this series. It helps me start the month off on a positive foot, as I look forward to all the things I'm looking forward to each month. So, without further ado, here's a few of the things I'm looking forward to in December.

1. Festive nails. I always look forward to a fresh set of nails, but even more so when they're festive themed!

2. Decorating for Christmas. Will this finally be the year we risk it and get a tree? Long story short, the first year of having a cat he ate the fibre optic tree, got really sick, and had to go to the vet. It cost us a fortune and was a very stressful experience. We haven't had one since. A tree, I mean.

3. Spending time with family. Tis the season to spend time with family and I am so looking forward to spending Christmas Day and Boxing Day with loved ones.

4. Festive clothing. I'm not a huge fan of Christmas jumpers, but I have a unicorn one I picked up in Asda last year that I adore. I also have an adorable Pusheen Christmas t-shirt. I'm excited to finally be able to wear them again!

5. Rereading some childhood faves. Including The Animals of Farthing Wood, The Little Prince and some more Goosebumps books.

6. Christmas shopping. I might have bought all (bar a handful) of my Christmas presents, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy a day out shopping. There's always more presents to buy, for others and for me!

7. Seeing my gynaecologist. Might be a weird thing to look forward to, but I'm hoping for some answers finally.

8. A review with my therapist. I was discharged from therapy back in November, but I have a review session booked for Christmas Eve Eve. I'm quite looking forward to seeing my therapist again actually!

9. Christmas cards. We haven't received our first one yet, but I'm excited to! I adore Christmas cards - both giving and receiving.

10. Time off work. Lots of bank holidays, the potential of the office being closed for a few days, and a week off blogging. I'm looking forward to a break from work this month!

What are you looking forward to this month? Are you excited for Christmas?
