November-December Book Haul (Part One)

It's the final Book Haul of the year!  Well, part one of anyway. Part two likely won't be published till the New Year, but let's just gloss over that and move on. Here's a little look at some of the books I've been buying recently.

(This'll also be my last post for two weeks, as I'm taking a two week break from my blog over the festive period to enjoy quality time with family and friends!)

Lots of kids books because I discovered an amazing online shop (they also have a physical presence in the Forest of Dean) selling super cheap children's books; Books for Bugs. I'm awaiting a referral to a group DBT skills therapy course, but I thought I'd get a jump-start on things by purchasing some self-help books by the expert in DBT, Marsha M Linehan, and teaching myself. I mean, it can't hurt, right?

The Evolution of Melanie Winters by Holly Stockport was sent to me in exchange for a review which will hopefully be going live in the New Year! So keep an eye out for that.

What are you currently reading?

  1. Lovely book haul! I like reading children’s books too. I’m currently reading a poetry book called Pass the Prosecco, Darling which so far I’m thoroughly enjoying. I don’t really drink prosecco, but the poems are true to life, and have a fun, quirky vibe. Happy reading in 2020. :-) xx
