Life Lately: November Edition!

Can you believe that in just five days time we'll be strolling into December? I can't! Time is just flying by and I am so not prepared for Christmas, which is now right around the corner. I'm not quite ready to say hello to December yet though, so here's a little look back at what I got up to in November. Christmas shopping. I've done the majority of my Christmas shopping online this year, and it's made life so much easier let me tell you! No crowds of people pushing and shoving. No hot, sweaty stores. No pushy sales assistants. Total convenience. This is the way forward, my friends. This month also saw me get discharged from therapy with a plan to get referred by my GP for a DBT skills group in the New Year. I also got a total new look with a brand new haircut, freshly waxed eyebrows and a fresh set of nails. Gotta look my best for Santa Claus, right? Oh, and the highlight of November? Being asked by my best friend to be her Maid of Honour! That moment left me speechless, and close to tears (happy tears.)
Buying...all the Christmas presents. I adore Christmas shopping; nothing makes me happier than finding the perfect gifts for my loved ones and seeing their faces when they open it on Christmas Day.
Reading...some Christmas children's books. The classics like The Snowman and Father Christmas by Raymond Briggs.
Watching...all the horror films. And The Accident, a series on Channel 5. It was a bit odd, and only a four part series so quite short. But not a bad watch all. Next up is Cold Call, another Channel 5 show. But I prefer to binge-watch so I'm waiting for all the episodes to be shown before I watch that one.
Spending...too much money on Christmas already. But if you can't spoil your loved ones (and yourself a little) at Christmas then when can you?
Planning for...Christmas Day and Boxing Day and what our plans will be. We usually spend Christmas Day with the in-laws and Boxing Day with my family. I think that'll mostly be the same this year, but it's just working out timings, logistics etc.

Tis the season for all the Lush baths

Loving the McDonald's Christmas cups this year

I said yes!

What have you been up to this month?
