August & September Favourites!

As I've been away from my blog for quite some time, I've missed a month's worth of Favourites/Life Lately/Reading Wrap-Up posts. Rather than skip them completely, though, I've decided to combine the missed August posts with my September ones. Enjoy!

August saw us experience some extraordinary weather and I certainly took advantage of that. A new crazy golf course opened up just down the road from us, and on a hot, sunny day my friend and I took the kids for a fun afternoon out. It was one of the best crazy golf courses I've ever played, and I'll definitely be going back again soon!

We got fish! This was definitely the highlight of August for me. We opted for smaller fish this time around, we've always had goldfish before, and a few snails. And I'm really enjoying watching them darting around the tank. The snails do a wonderful job of keeping the tank clean too!

Lots of Lush baths were enjoyed. I do miss my Lush baths over the Summer, as I find it too hot to steam in a hot bath. But there were a few cooler days when I indulged in one, and I particularly enjoyed this bath bomb that made me feel like I was bathing in a tub of orange soda!

September was my birthday and our wedding anniversary month, so it was a month full of joyful moments. One of which was receiving the Lego Ideas Friends Central Perk set from my hubby for my birthday (boy done good). We spent a rainy Sunday afternoon putting the set together and I'm so proud of the end result. It's proudly displayed on the top of my bookcase in the living room for all to see!

I received mostly money for my birthday this year, and so I put it towards a new phone! That's right, I've gone back to iPhone with the new iPhone 11 and I LOVE IT. It's so pretty, so purple, so shiny, so new. I may have switched sides for a little while, but I'm definitely an Apple fangirl at heart.

The weather started to turn in September and become much more Autumnal, didn't it? So, of course, I indulged in a lot more Lush baths. And this was one of my favourites. It's a lot blacker than the photo shows, and was very, very sparkly. I came out of the bath covered in glitter!

Tell me one of your favourite things from September!
