Life Lately: April Edition

So, April happened. That month seemed to fly by, but they do say time flies when you're having fun. And I had a lot of fun in April. Here's what I got up to...

Doing: so much fun stuff. We packed so much into the Easter Bank Holiday weekend; spending Good Friday at Dudley Zoo, Saturday painting the garden fences, Sunday with family enjoying a delicious roast dinner, and Easter Monday catching up with friends over lunch. April also saw me get a fab set of Easter themed nails, have a 'pizza and a movie' night with Steph, spend four nights alone as Chris was dog-sitting, and finally get my hands on the Lindt Crème Brule chocolate I've been seeing people raving about for months.
Buying: all the storage options. After my spring clean, I felt a spring decluttering coming on. And I needed a few new boxes, shelves and what not to help me in my efforts. Also, all the Minky products. I totally get the hype, you guys.
Watching: Britain's Got Talent, baby. It's back, and I couldn't be more excited. I love watching the auditions, especially the fails. Why some people get up on that stage in front of everyone when they clearly have no talent is beyond me!
Reading...mostly magazines, but a few books as well. I surprised myself by absolutely loving the graphic novel version of Laurie Halse Anderson's "Speak". My first five star read of the year!
Spending...far too much time in cupboards. We cleared out the cupboard under the stairs in April, a job that really needed doing. I also re-organised the cupboard under the sink, to accommodate my ever-growing cleaning supplies collection, and the mug cupboard, which was groaning under the weight of all the mugs I own. Yep, I have a serious mug problem, ngl.
Thinking about: how glad I am to have fallen back in love with my blog. I really missed it, and I'm glad to back.

My first bath in so long!
