May Goals!

So, April was a bit of a write-off for me. Of my five goals (see what they were here), I achieved only two; buying myself flowers once a week, and buying a new plant. I normally recount last month's goals in these posts, before setting new ones, but as last month was such a fail, I'm just going to dive straight into the new goals I'm setting myself for May!
1. Get up half-an-hour earlier every day. I have a tendency to stay in bed/asleep until as late as possible every single day. And yet, when I am forced to get up early, I feel better for this. Ultimately, I want to get up an hour earlier every day, but baby steps, so I'm starting with half-an-hour.

2. Practice mindfulness once a day. I set myself the goal of practising mindfulness three times a day last month. That was overly ambitious, I feel. So I'm going back to basics this month, and trying for once a day.

3. Moisturise! My skin has gotten SO DRY recently. Dry and itchy - it's the worst. I've started a daily skincare routine for my face. This month I want to start a skincare routine for the rest of my body, too.

4. Donate some of my old clothes to charity. My wardrobe is bursting at the seams, and I tend to only wear half of the contents, if that! This month, I want to clear out my wardrobe and donate the old clothes I no longer wear to charity.

5. Clear out under the bed. We have a tendency to shove boxes, and other crap, under our bed until there's no space left! This month, I want to get everything out from under the bed, throw away and donate what we can, and put the rest up in our attic. Out of sight, out of mind!
