My Word For 2018!

If anyone remembers, last year I set myself a word for the year, as well as goals. My word for 2017 was HEALTHY. And it's safe to say, I failed spectacularly. My mental health declined rapidly in the run-up to our wedding, as anxiety got the better of me. And I gave up completely on losing weight, eating better and exercising more. So, where does that leave me now we're well into 2018? What's my word for 2018? Wait for it...

My word for 2018 is...BETTER.

I want to eat better, get better at exercising (even if it only once a week to start off with!) I want to see my mental health get better this year. I want my body to get better, ready to have a baby. I want to do everything better; my job, my blog, my life.

When I first started writing this post, before I'd looked back on what my word for 2017 was, my word for 2018 was going to be healthy. And I did toy with making it my word again. But that seemed like a cop-out. So this year, I'm striving for better. Not the best. Not 100% in anything. But better. And that's a word I think I stand a good chance of living up to.

What's your word for 2018?
