December Favourites

At the time of writing, there's only six sleeps to go till Christmas Day. But by the time this post goes live, in a week, Christmas will be over. And we'll all be looking forward to the new year. Crazy, right? I'll soon be posting content relating to the new year; goals, plans, my word for 2019 etc. But before that, I want to reflect back on a few of my favourite things from December, the last month of 2018!

Festive nails are the best nails. Despite having a broken finger, all splinted up, my wonderful nail artist was still able to do a fantastic job on my nails. And now I feel like a new woman. And festive. I feel festive!

I recently started reading Real Crime magazine, and I really enjoy it. It's one of my favourite magazines that lands on my doorstep every month. So you can imagine how disappointed I was to discover this is their final edition. At least they went out with a bang; this edition was a cracking one!

'Tis the season for lots of hot baths. Nothing warms you up better on a chilly day. And since I've broken my finger, it's a whole lot easier to sit in a bath than try to avoid getting my splint wet in the shower! I do love a good bath bomb, and this one was a gorgeous pink, sparkly colour. I think it might have been Christmas Sweater? But I could be wrong!

Hubby and I love The Apprentice. We always look forward to it returning to our screens, and watch it every year. We both predicted who would win this series, and we were both wrong! The Apprentice is one of the few TV programs hubby and I both enjoy, so is an hour a week we always spend together. Plus, because it's on BBC One, there's never any adverts and you have no idea how happy that makes me. I hate adverts!

Unicorn Gin exists, guys, and my local pub sell it! So you'd better believe that's all I've been drinking lately. It's much prettier IRL. It's a swirly, glimmery pink. And it tastes divine. This is all I want to drink from now on...

Excuse my ugly mug but...I finally bought a new coat, and I love it. I feel like a proper grown-up in my new coat and, to be honest, this is long overdue. Up until this year, I've been wearing the coat I received as a Christmas present when I was just 16. That makes it 12 years old! Like I said, long overdue.

Tell me about your favourite things from December in the comments below.
