April Favourites!

I know, I know. I'm posting my April Favourites in May. Who even am I? I'm usually much more organised with these posts, and get them out in the last week of each month. But last month I had a lot of collaborations come my way (which was awesome) that took priority. So my April Favourites blog post got pushed back a little. And now, here we are. Enjoy this quick look back at a few of my favourite things from April...

Getting my nails done is always a highlight of my month! I really love this red and silver colour combo, and I can't tell you how glad I was to get a new set of nails after accidentally dying my last nails (mint green) purple whilst dying my hair!

I happened across the sequel, and the second book in a trilogy, to a book I read last year this month. Although I didn't love the first book in the series, Ragdoll, the second book in the series, Hangman, was absolutely fantastic and one of my favourite books read this month!

I started a new nightly skincare regime this month with some brand new Avon products. And it's ridiculously simple! Splash some of the Anew Perfect Skin Daily Skin Boosting Splash on your face and neck, allow to dry, follow with Anew Perfect Skin Sleep Cream and job done. These skincare products are amazing, and definitely one of the best things I bought this month!

One of my favourite documentary series on TV came back in April, and now I cannot wait for Tuesday nights! I love getting a look behind the scenes, so to speak, at what goes on in hospitals.

Definitely one of my favourite things about April was the arrival of sunnier, brighter days. I'm not a huge fan of the heat; I actually suffer quite badly with SAD during the summer months. But the last week or two of April have been sunny and bright, but not overwhelmingly warm. Perfect weather, in my opinion!

I rediscovered my love for Daughtry this month. I've been blasting his albums in my car with the windows down, sunroof open, enjoying the tunes and summer weather! Another band I've rediscovered my love for this month? Three Days Grace. Can't help but headbang along to their songs.

What was the highlight of April for you?
