Life Lately: December Edition!

It's strange to think that, when this post goes live, Christmas will be a thing of the past and we'll all be looking forward to the New Year! But at the time of writing? There's still ten sleeps to go till Christmas arrives. So that's a bit of a surreal thought, right there! Now, without further waffling, here's what I've been up to this month.

Doing...plenty of Christmas preparation! From Christmas shopping in Cardiff with my husband and mother-in-law, to wrapping, as well as delivering, all the presents; it's been a busy month!
Buying...a Hufflepuff cushion! On our Christmas shopping trip to Cardiff, I had a browse around the huge Primark store and, although I was disappointed at how little Hufflepuff merchandise they had, I was excited to score a Hufflepuff cushion.
Reading...so many great books. They All Fall Down, by Tammy Cohen, was a highlight.
Watching...all the Christmas episodes of Friends. Comedy Central have been playing them for the last few weeks, and I've loved watching my old favourites!
Eating...out, far too much. From pub lunches to takeaways, we've really been pretty rubbish at this whole adulting thing!
Spending...time planning for 2018. I want to make my blog better, I want to improve my mental health, and I want to lose some weight. So I'm getting my plan on now to make it happen.
Looking forward to...January. As odd as it may sound, I'm excited for a fresh start in the New Year. We also have lots to look forward to in January; from our cat's third birthday, to our seven year dating anniversary, as well as lots of meals out with friends and family.

Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas, and are feeling stuffed from Christmas lunch!

What did you get up to in December?
