This book wasn't on my October TBR pile, and I don't usually read 'off the pile.' But a friend of mine wanted to borrow this book to read on holiday, so I very quickly read through it myself before handing it over! It didn't take long to read through what turned out to be an incredibly harrowing read. Not one for the faint of heart.

I accidentally read, like, the fifth book in the Joona Linna series a month or two ago. I loved it, so decided to read the whole series! I picked up the first book from Amazon, and read it in a matter of days. Totally gripping, with a massive twist that I just did not see coming. The only thing I find with Lars Kepler's novels is that they always seem to drag on just a little too long. But otherwise, a great read!

Where's the disgusted face emoji when you need it? I had my doubts about David Lagercrantz continuing Stieg Larsson's Millennium series when it was first announced. But David Lagercrantz proved himself worthy in his first book continuing Larsson's original series, The Girl In The Spider's Web. So I was excited to read his next instalment, The Girl Who Takes An Eye For An Eye. But let me tell you now...I was disappointed. I won't say more, as I have a full review of this book coming up soon. So keep an eye out for that.
