The "If I Could..." Tag!

I was tagged by the lovely Danielle, of Underland to Wonderland, to do the "If I Could" tag. You can see her post here!

If I could live anywhere:
I don't mind where, exactly; in fact, I quite like Tewkesbury, but I'd like to live somewhere further out of town, with no main roads too near. Somewhere safe for my little kitten to explore and play outside!

If I could have any home:
A four bedroom, three bathroom, split over three-stories. The master bedroom, with en-suite and dressing room, should be on the third floor, with the remaining three bedrooms and one bathroom on the second floor. On the ground floor; a big kitchen with lots of counter space (oh, how I dream of lots of counter space!) and an island in the middle. Dining room and living room and, of course, the living room should have a big, open fireplace. And a separate home office, perhaps tucked behind the living room. And there'd be a downstairs loo, too. Not that I've thought about this a lot, or anything...

If I could have any garden:
Fences covered in climbing ivy; flower beds full of brightly coloured flowers; a swinging bench; a water feature; a gardener to keep all the flowers alive (I am definitely not green fingered!)

If I could be on holiday right now:
Florida! I so want to visit Disney World Resort in Orlando, and swim with dolphins.

If I could have any job:
Teaching. Hah. Bet you didn't expect me to say that, did you? I'm sure you thought I'd say something like, blogging, or reading books. But no, for me, if I could have any job, it'd be teaching.

If I could have any talent:
I'd love to be able to draw. Like, my best friend draws like she breathes; it's effortless. And I've been super jealous since we were teens. I'd love to be able to express myself through art the way she does!

If I could live any day again:
I mean, if I was married, or if I had kids, I'd probably say one of those days. But I'm not married, I don't have kids. So I'm going to say, the day we bought our kitten home. Our lives changed completely that day, but for the better. And I'd love to live that day again to relive the swell of love I felt for the tiny little black and white kitten that was sat on my knee!

I tag these lovelies:

Sarah
Justine
Alex

And anyone else who wants to do it! Let me know if you do the "If I Could" tag. I'd love to read your responses!

  1. Aimee, I think it's absolutely adorable that you've got such a love for your kitten. I'm a Ailurophile myself so I understand. I so wish I had the talent for any kind of art, honestly. Me and a pencil just don't mix!

    Lovely, lovely tag!

    1. Thank you May! I hadn't ever heard of the term Ailurophile before (I just called myself a cat lover!) I love that there is a word to describe us! I'm totally the same. I can draw a stick man, and even that not very well, but that's about it! Thank you :) xo

  2. I love the way you described your dream garden, that's my ideal garden too! I want a real fairytale/country cottage style place to relax and unwind. This was such a good post, I love it! And super cute kitten photo too. - Tasha
